## TL;DR

This paper verifies a conjecture that tree-level scattering amplitudes in theories with nonlinear (super)symmetries can be directly derived from the action, using the Volkov-Akulov model as a test case, confirming the approach at low orders.

## Contribution

It provides the first explicit check of Kallosh's conjecture in the context of the Volkov-Akulov theory, demonstrating the method's validity at the 6-point level.

## Key findings

- 6-point amplitude calculations agree with S-matrix results
- Local 6-point diagram cancels at lowest non-trivial order
- Method confirms that amplitudes can be derived from the action directly

## Abstract

The characteristics of tree level scattering amplitudes in theories with nonlinear (super)symmetries were recently proposed by Kallosh to be encoded in a simple way directly from the action, based on a background field method. We check this conjecture to lowest non-trivial order in the Volkov-Akulov theory, where the local 6-point diagram cancels and the results up to 6 points indeed are in agreement with S-matrix computations.
