## TL;DR

This paper critiques a previous study on entanglement of nonlinear photon-added coherent states, identifying numerical errors in their calculations and correcting the conclusions to align with established literature.

## Contribution

It highlights and corrects numerical errors in prior work on entanglement measures, ensuring accurate interpretation of quantum state properties.

## Key findings

- Identified errors in linear entropy and Mandel parameter calculations
- Corrected numerical results align with existing literature
- Revised conclusions support previous findings on state entanglement

## Abstract

Beam splitter mediated entanglement of nonlinear photon-added coherent states was studied by Honarasa, Bagheri and Gharaati [1]. We believe that this work contains errors in numerical computations of linear entropy and Mandel parameter which lead to wrong conclusions. We point out the possible errors and describe the necessary corrections. The conclusions based on our arguments are in complete agreement with previously published literature.
