## TL;DR

This paper reports measurements of the nuclear modification factor and elliptic flow of leptons from heavy-flavour hadron decays in Pb--Pb collisions at two energies, providing insights into heavy quark interactions with the quark-gluon plasma.

## Contribution

It provides new experimental data on heavy-flavour decay leptons at different energies and centralities, comparing results to theoretical models of quark-medium interactions.

## Key findings

- Suppression of leptons indicating energy loss in medium
- Elliptic flow signals collective behavior of heavy quarks
- Results consistent with models including quark-medium interactions

## Abstract

We present the ALICE results on the nuclear modification factor and elliptic flow of electrons and muons from open heavy-flavour hadron decays at mid-rapidity and forward rapidity in Pb--Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 2.76 and 5.02 TeV for different centrality intervals. The results are compared to model calculations that include interactions of heavy quarks with the medium.
