Quasi-Parton Distribution Function in Lattice Perturbation Theory
Xiaonu Xiong, Thomas Luu, Ulf-G. Mei{\ss}ner

TL;DR
This paper computes one-loop quasi-PDFs in lattice perturbation theory, analyzing continuum and massless quark limits, and clarifies conditions for matching lattice results to continuum QCD, highlighting discretization effects and corrections.
Contribution
It provides a detailed perturbative analysis of quasi-PDFs with different lattice actions, identifying conditions for continuum limit recovery and the impact of lattice artifacts.
Findings
Naive fermion quasi-PDF reduces to continuum in the limit
Conditions for matching continuum quasi-PDF involve lattice spacing and mass
Discretization corrections are of order a^1 and affect quasi-PDFs
Abstract
Large momentum effective field theory provides a new direction for lattice QCD calculations of hadronic structure functions, such as parton distribution functions (PDFs), meson distribution amplitudes, and so on, directly with -dependence. In the framework of Lattice Perturbation Theory (LPT), we compute the one-loop quark-in-quark quasi-PDF with the na\"ive fermion action () and quasi-PDF with Wilson-Clover action () and show that reduces to the continuum quasi-PDF in the continuum limit. We point out, however, that the continuum limit and massless quark limit do not commute. We find that the condition to recover the same collinear divergence that the quasi-PDF has in continuum QCD is and , while the condition to fully recover the continuum quasi-PDF is ,…
