A simulation chain for the LAGO Space Weather Program
Hernan Asorey, Luis A. N\'u\~nez, Mauricio Su\'arez-Dur\'an

TL;DR
This paper presents a simulation chain to model background flux variations at LAGO sites, highlighting the influence of latitude and geomagnetic field changes on cosmic ray components like neutrons and muons.
Contribution
It introduces a simulation framework specifically designed for the LAGO observatory to study space weather effects on cosmic ray fluxes.
Findings
Flux variations depend on latitude.
Neutrons and muons are affected by geomagnetic field changes.
Simulation results match expected spatial flux patterns.
Abstract
We simulate the expected variations of background flux at two particular sites of the Latin American Giant Observatory (LAGO) and found that these fluxes are sensible to the latitude and that neutrons and muons components, of cosmic rays, are affected due to the variation of the geomagnetic field (GF).
