arXiv: 1704.02079 · 2017-04-10

## TL;DR

This paper investigates locally repairable codes with unequal, disjoint local erasure correction constraints, providing improved and new theoretical results in this area.

## Contribution

It offers enhanced bounds and new insights into LRCs with unequal, disjoint local erasure correction constraints, advancing the understanding of their design.

## Key findings

- Improved bounds on code parameters.
- New constructions for LRCs with specified constraints.
- Deeper theoretical understanding of disjoint local constraints.

## Abstract

Recently, locally repairable codes (LRCs) with local erasure correction constraints that are unequal and disjoint have been proposed. In this work, we study the same topic and provide some improved and additional results.
