## TL;DR

This paper introduces a novel perturbative evolution method for small x in deep inelastic scattering, effectively addressing the limitations of traditional approaches and providing better data description, especially for charm structure functions.

## Contribution

It presents a new approach to DGLAP evolution at small x that overcomes the invalidity of perturbation expansion in this regime.

## Key findings

- Better fit to charm structure function data
- Successful description of small x behavior
- Addresses limitations of conventional methods

## Abstract

We propose an approach to DGLAP evolution at small x that circumvents the usual problem that a perturbation expansion is not valid there. The data for the charm structure function are important to motivate the method, and it describes them much more successfully than the conventional approach.
