Ribbon disks with the same exterior
Tetsuya Abe, Motoo Tange

TL;DR
This paper constructs an infinite family of ribbon slice disks sharing the same exterior, answering a longstanding question and expanding understanding of slice disk topology.
Contribution
It introduces a new infinite family of ribbon slice disks with identical exteriors, resolving a question posed in 1981.
Findings
Constructed an infinite family of slice disks with identical exteriors.
Proved that these slice disks are ribbon disks.
Provided an affirmative answer to a question by Hitt and Sumners.
Abstract
We construct an infinite family of slice disks with the same exterior, which gives an affirmative answer to an old question asked by Hitt and Sumners in 1981. Furthermore, we prove that these slice disks are ribbon disks.
