## TL;DR

This paper demonstrates that massive conformal gravity avoids the vDVZ discontinuity in the massless limit, ensuring a finite gravitational potential at the origin, which is a significant theoretical improvement.

## Contribution

It shows that the massless limit of linearized massive conformal gravity is free from the vDVZ discontinuity, a problem in massive gravity theories.

## Key findings

- vDVZ discontinuity is absent in the massless limit
- Gravitational potential remains finite at the origin
- The theory is consistent with a smooth massless limit

## Abstract

By taking the massless limit of linearized massive conformal gravity coupled to a source, we show that the theory is free from the vDVZ discontinuity. This result is confirmed when we take the massless limit of the gravitational potential of the theory, which is shown to be finite at the origin.
