Vi Hart, Andrea Hawksley, Elisabetta A. Matsumoto, Henry, Segerman

TL;DR
This paper introduces initial methods for simulating three-dimensional hyperbolic space in virtual reality, enabling immersive exploration of non-euclidean geometries.
Contribution
It presents the first steps towards virtual reality simulations of hyperbolic space, providing accessible tools for experiencing non-euclidean geometries.
Findings
Simulated hyperbolic space is available online for public exploration.
Initial techniques for rendering non-euclidean geometries in VR are demonstrated.
The project opens new avenues for research and education in non-euclidean geometry.
Abstract
We describe our initial explorations in simulating non-euclidean geometries in virtual reality. Our simulations of three-dimensional hyperbolic space are available at http://h3.hypernom.com.
