## TL;DR

This paper applies a dislocation-mediated plastic flow theory to aluminum, successfully predicting stress-strain behavior across various temperatures and strain rates with high accuracy.

## Contribution

It demonstrates the effectiveness of the Langer, Bouchbinder, and Lookman theory in modeling aluminum's plastic flow, validated by experimental data.

## Key findings

- Excellent agreement between theory and experiment
- Accurate prediction of stress-strain curves across conditions
- Validation of dislocation-mediated plastic flow model

## Abstract

The theory of dislocation mediated plastic flow proposed by Langer, Bouchbinder, and Lookman is applied to compute the stress-strain curve of aluminum and aluminum alloys over a wide range of temperatures and strain rates. The comparison with experiment shows excellent agreement.
