$T\bar T$ and LST
Amit Giveon, Nissan Itzhaki, David Kutasov

TL;DR
This paper explores how a specific $Tar T$ deformation of a 2D conformal field theory leads to a holographic dual that transitions from $AdS_3$ in the IR to a linear dilaton background in the UV, connecting to Little String Theory.
Contribution
It demonstrates a holographic dual for $Tar T$ deformations resulting in a spacetime interpolating between $AdS_3$ and linear dilaton backgrounds, linking to Little String Theory.
Findings
Holographic duals for $Tar T$ deformed theories are constructed.
The bulk geometry interpolates between $AdS_3$ and linear dilaton spacetime.
Provides insights into the UV behavior of $Tar T$ deformations.
Abstract
It was recently shown that the theory obtained by deforming a general two dimensional conformal theory by the irrelevant operator is solvable. In the context of holography, a large class of such theories can be obtained by studying string theory on . We show that a certain deformation of the boundary gives rise in the bulk to string theory in a background that interpolates between in the IR and a linear dilaton spacetime in the UV, i.e. to a two dimensional vacuum of Little String Theory. This construction provides holographic duals for a large class of vacua of string theory in asymptotically linear dilaton spacetimes, and sheds light on the UV behavior of deformed . It may provide a step towards holography in flat spacetime.
