## TL;DR

This paper discusses recent TOTEM measurements at 8 TeV that suggest hadron interactions may exceed the black-disk limit, indicating a possible transition to a reflective scattering mode at LHC energies.

## Contribution

It highlights evidence for the black-disk limit being surpassed and proposes the emergence of a reflective scattering mode at high energies.

## Key findings

- Indication of black-disk limit exceeding in hadron interactions
- Support for the reflective scattering mode at LHC energies
- Impact parameter analysis at 8 TeV

## Abstract

We point out to another indication of the black-disk limit exceeding in hadron interactions found in the recent impact parameter analysis performed by the TOTEM Collaboration at $\sqrt{s}$=8 TeV and emphasise that this observation might be interpreted as a confirmation of the reflective scattering mode appearance at the LHC energies.
