TL;DR
This paper introduces a method to shield linearised gravitational fields by employing third-order potentials for the metric, simplifying the process by avoiding singular equations in the construction.
Contribution
It presents a novel approach using third-order potentials to shield linearised gravity, eliminating the need for solving singular equations.
Findings
Successful shielding of linearised gravitational fields demonstrated.
Avoidance of singular equations in shielding constructions.
Simplification of the mathematical process for gravitational shielding.
Abstract
We present an elementary argument that one can shield linearised gravitational fields using linearised gravitational fields. This is done by using third-order potentials for the metric, which avoids the need to solve singular equations in shielding or gluing constructions for the linearised metric.
