TL;DR
This paper investigates how triple Higgs couplings in the 2HDM significantly affect the decay rates of the Higgs boson into bottom quarks and tau leptons, with potential deviations over 20% from the Standard Model predictions.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of one-loop electroweak corrections in the 2HDM, highlighting the impact of triple Higgs couplings on Higgs decay processes and proposing the ratio of branching ratios as a discriminant.
Findings
Corrections can exceed 20% for lighter additional Higgs bosons.
Triple couplings absent in the SM significantly influence decay rates.
The ratio R can help distinguish 2HDM from the SM.
Abstract
We study the one loop electroweak radiative corrections to and in the framework of two Higgs doublet Model (2HDM). We evaluate the deviation of these couplings from their Standard Model (SM) values. and may receives large contribution from triple couplings , , and which are absent in the Standard Model. It is found that in 2HDM, these corrections could be significant and may reach more than 20\% for not tow heavy or or . We also study the ratio of branching ratios of Higgs boson decays which could be used to disentangle SM from other models such as 2HDM.
