TL;DR
This study reports the first observation of certain baryonic decays of $J/$ and $(3686)$, measures their branching fractions and angular parameters with high precision, and tests symmetry rules in these processes using large data samples from BESIII.
Contribution
It provides the first measurements of decay angular parameters and branching fractions for these processes, improving precision and testing fundamental symmetry rules.
Findings
Decays to $(1385)^{0}ar{}(1385)^{0}$ observed for the first time.
Branching fractions for $J/$ and $(3686) ightarrow\u0013^0ar^0$ are more precise.
Angular decay parameter for $J/ ightarrow(1385)^{0}ar(1385)^{0}$ is negative, indicating unique decay dynamics.
Abstract
We study the decays of and to the final states and based on a single baryon tag method using data samples of and events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The decays to are observed for the first time. The measured branching fractions of and are in good agreement with, and much more precise, than the previously published results. The angular parameters for these decays are also measured for the first time. The measured angular decay parameter for , , is found to be negative, different to the other decay processes in this…
