$AdS$ Vacua from Dilaton Tadpoles and Form Fluxes
J. Mourad, A. Sagnotti

TL;DR
This paper explores how unbounded form fluxes and dilaton tadpoles in various string models can produce stable $AdS$ vacua with constant dilaton profiles, expanding the landscape of possible string compactifications.
Contribution
It demonstrates the existence of new $AdS$ vacua supported by unbounded fluxes and dilaton tadpoles in several string models, including $USp(32)$, $U(32)$, and heterotic models, with controlled corrections.
Findings
Unbounded three-form fluxes lead to $AdS_3 imes S_7$ vacua.
Unbounded seven-form fluxes support $AdS_7 imes S_3$ vacua.
Special gauge fluxes enable $AdS_{n} imes S_{10-n}$ vacua for $n=2..8$.
Abstract
We describe how unbounded three--form fluxes can lead to families of vacua, with constant dilaton profiles, in the model with "brane supersymmetry breaking" and in the 0'B model, if their (projective--)disk dilaton tadpoles are taken into account. We also describe how, in the heterotic model, if the torus vacuum energy is taken into account, unbounded seven--form fluxes can support similar vacua, while unbounded three--form fluxes, when combined with internal gauge fields, can support vacua, which continue to be available even if is neglected. In addition, special gauge field fluxes can support, in the heterotic model, a set of vacua, for all . String loop and corrections appear under control when large…
