H. Bahtiyar, K. U. Can, G. Erkol, M. Oka, T. T. Takahashi

TL;DR
This study uses lattice QCD to compute electromagnetic transition form factors and magnetic moments of $ ext{Xi}_c$ and $ ext{Xi}_c'$ baryons, providing insights into their internal quark dynamics.
Contribution
First lattice QCD calculation of $ ext{Xi}_c o ext{Xi}_c'$ electromagnetic transition form factors and magnetic moments at near-physical pion mass.
Findings
Transition magnetic moments and decay rates obtained.
No signal for neutral transition form factor, consistent with U-spin symmetry.
Magnetic moments of $ ext{Xi}_c$ and $ ext{Xi}_c'$ extracted.
Abstract
We evaluate the electromagnetic transition on 2+1 flavor lattices corresponding to a pion mass of MeV. We extract the magnetic Sachs and Pauli form factors which give the - transition magnetic moment and the decay rates of baryons. We did not find a signal for the magnetic form factor of the neutral transition , which is suppressed by the U-spin flavor symmetry. As a byproduct, we extract the magnetic form factors and the magnetic moments of and baryons, which give an insight to the dynamics of , and quarks having masses at different scales.
