Random Potentials and Cosmological Attractors
Andrei Linde

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that inflation can be achieved in theories with random potentials if at least one field has a non-minimal kinetic term, aligning with observational data through cosmological attractor models.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to realizing inflation in random potential theories by incorporating non-minimal kinetic terms akin to $ ext{alpha}$-attractors.
Findings
Inflation is achievable with random potentials and non-minimal kinetic terms.
Agreement with observational data is naturally obtained.
The approach extends the class of viable inflationary models.
Abstract
I show that the problem of realizing inflation in theories with random potentials of a limited number of fields can be solved, and agreement with the observational data can be naturally achieved if at least one of these fields has a non-minimal kinetic term of the type used in the theory of cosmological -attractors.
