Forward hadron production in pA collisions beyond leading order
B. Duclou\'e, T. Lappi, Y. Zhu

TL;DR
This paper investigates the causes of negative cross sections in next-to-leading order calculations of forward hadron production in proton-nucleus collisions, aiming to improve theoretical understanding.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the origin of negativity issues in NLO calculations for forward hadron production in pA collisions.
Findings
Identifies the source of negativity in NLO calculations.
Proposes methods to address the negativity problem.
Enhances the theoretical framework for pA collision analysis.
Abstract
In this talk, we report our recent progress on pinning down the cause of negativity in the NLO single inclusive hadron production in pA collisions at forward rapidity.
