Behrooz Khosropour

TL;DR
This paper investigates how a minimal length, derived from the generalized uncertainty principle, affects electromagnetic forces such as Lorentz, ponderomotive, and related laws.
Contribution
It derives modified electromagnetic forces and laws incorporating the effects of a minimal length within the GUP framework, extending classical electromagnetism.
Findings
Modified Lorentz force law with minimal length
Altered ponderomotive force and pressure expressions
Implications for electromagnetic phenomena at quantum gravity scales
Abstract
In this work, according to the electromagnetic field tensor in the framework of generalized uncertainty principle (GUP), we obtain the Lorentz force and Faraday's law of induction in the presence of a minimal length. Also, the ponderomotive force and pomderomotive pressure in the presence of a measurable minimal length are found.
