Physics objects for top physics in CMS
Jyothsna Rani Komaragiri (for the CMS collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports on the performance of key physics objects used in top quark analyses at CMS, based on 13 TeV data, highlighting their current status and capabilities.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive assessment of physics object performance specifically for top quark studies in CMS at 13 TeV.
Findings
Physics objects perform reliably for top quark analyses.
Detailed performance metrics for CMS physics objects.
Validation of object reconstruction with 12.9 fb^-1 data.
Abstract
We present the status and performance of the physics objects with data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 12.9 inverse fb collected at 13 TeV by the CMS experiment. We cover the performance of the physics objects extensively used in physics analyses involving top quarks.
