Pion spectra in Ar+Sc interactions at SPS energies
Maciej Lewicki

TL;DR
This paper presents analysis of pion spectra in Ar+Sc collisions at various SPS energies, comparing results with other collision systems to understand particle production mechanisms.
Contribution
It provides new measurements of pion spectra in Ar+Sc interactions at multiple energies, expanding the understanding of collision dynamics at SPS energies.
Findings
Pion spectra vary with collision energy and system size.
Rapidity and transverse mass spectra are consistent with existing models.
Comparison with other systems reveals insights into particle production processes.
Abstract
This contribution discusses recent results from analysis of Ar+Sc interactions recorded with the NA61/SHINE detector at six beam momenta: 13A, 19A, 30A, 40A, 75A, 150A GeV/c at the CERN SPS. Rapidity and transverse mass spectra of pions obtained with the "h-" analysis method are presented and compared to results from p+p, Be+Be and Pb+Pb collisions.
