Remote synchronization in networks of coupled oscillators
Rafael S. Pinto

TL;DR
This paper investigates the conditions under which complex networks of coupled oscillators exhibit remote synchronization, where non-adjacent nodes with symmetrical positions synchronize despite lacking direct links.
Contribution
It identifies the specific network symmetries and conditions that lead to remote synchronization in coupled oscillator systems.
Findings
Remote synchronization occurs under certain symmetry conditions.
Network topology critically influences synchronization patterns.
The study provides criteria for predicting remote synchronization.
Abstract
We study under which conditions systems of coupled oscillators on complex networks display remote synchronization, a situation where pairs of vertices, not necessarily physically linked, but with the same network symmetry, are synchronized.
