Jo\~ao S\'a, Sandra Alves, Sabine Broda

TL;DR
This paper presents the G-ACM Tool, which leverages the Drools rule engine within a graphical framework to visualize and dynamically manage access control policies based on the Category-Based Access Control model.
Contribution
It introduces a novel integration of Drools with a visual framework for dynamic access control policy management, enhancing clarity and flexibility.
Findings
Effective visualization of access policies
Dynamic permission computation demonstrated
Enhanced policy management capabilities
Abstract
In this paper we explore the usage of rule engines in a graphical framework for visualising dynamic access control policies. We use the Drools rule engine to dynamically compute permissions, following the Category-Based Access Control metamodel.
