TL;DR
This paper proposes a method to access generalized parton distributions through the exclusive photoproduction of a gamma-rho pair with large invariant mass at JLab 12-GeV, demonstrating its feasibility.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to probe GPDs via gamma-rho pair production with specific kinematics, expanding experimental techniques.
Findings
Feasibility of measuring gamma-rho production at JLab 12-GeV.
Potential to access GPDs through this process.
Kinematic conditions suitable for the measurement.
Abstract
We propose and study the photoproduction of a pair with a large invariant mass and a small transverse momentum of the final nucleon, as a way to access generalized parton distributions. In the kinematics of JLab 12-GeV, we demonstrate the feasibility of this measurement.
