Mod p Base Change transfer for GL(2)
Andrew Jones, Mehmet Haluk Sengun

TL;DR
This paper investigates the transfer of mod p eigenforms for GL(2) across number field extensions, supported by computational experiments in specific CM field cases.
Contribution
It provides new computational evidence for mod p base change functoriality in GL(2) over certain number fields.
Findings
Supporting data for base change in imaginary quadratic and CM quartic fields
Systematic computer experiments validating theoretical expectations
Evidence suggesting broader applicability of mod p base change
Abstract
We discuss Base Change functoriality for mod p eigenforms for GL(2) over number fields. We carry out systematic computer experiments and collect data supporting its existence in cases of field extensions K/F where F is imaginary quadratic and K is CM quartic.
