\"Ozg\"ur \"Okc\"u, Ekrem Ayd{\i}ner

TL;DR
This paper explores the Joule-Thomson expansion in charged AdS black holes, deriving inversion temperatures and curves, and comparing their thermodynamic behavior to van der Waals fluids.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed analysis of Joule-Thomson effects in charged AdS black holes, including inversion curves and thermodynamic phase behavior.
Findings
Charged AdS black holes exhibit Joule-Thomson cooling and heating regions.
Inversion temperatures depend on black hole charge and pressure.
Analogies between black hole thermodynamics and van der Waals fluids are established.
Abstract
In this paper, we study Joule-Thomson effects for charged AdS black holes. We obtain inversion temperatures and curves. We investigate similarities and differences between van der Waals fluids and charged AdS black holes for the expansion. We obtain isenthalpic curves for both systems in plane and determine the cooling-heating regions.
