I\~naki Garc\'ia-Etxebarria, Diego Regalado

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel construction of four-dimensional $ =3$ supersymmetric theories using M5 branes in an M-theory U-fold background, extending previous class $ ext{S}$ methods and incorporating discrete symmetries.
Contribution
The authors develop a new framework for constructing exceptional $ =3$ theories via M5 branes on $T^2$ in U-fold backgrounds, generalizing class $ ext{S}$ techniques with additional discrete symmetries.
Findings
Constructed new $ =3$ theories using M5 branes in U-fold backgrounds.
Extended class $ ext{S}$ construction to include $ =3$ theories.
Connected $ =3$ theories to $(0,2)$ $E$-type 6D SCFTs.
Abstract
We present a new construction of four dimensional theories, given by M5 branes wrapping a in an M-theory U-fold background. The resulting setup generalizes the one used in the usual class construction of four dimensional theories by using an extra discrete symmetry on the M5 worldvolume. Together with the M-theory U-fold description of -type six-dimensional SCFTs, this allows to construct new, exceptional, theories.
