TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of branching fractions for specific D meson decays involving K0_S particles, including the first measurement of one decay mode, using data from the BESIII detector at the psi(3770) resonance.
Contribution
First measurement of the D0→K0_S K0_S decay and improved precision for other D meson decay branching fractions using BESIII data.
Findings
Measured branching fraction for D+→K0_S K0_S K+ with high precision.
First measurement of the D0→K0_S K0_S decay mode.
Significant improvement in the accuracy of previous measurements.
Abstract
By analyzing of data taken at the resonance peak with the BESIII detector, we measure the branching fractions for the hadronic decays , , and . They are determined to be , , and , where the second one is measured for the first time and the others are measured with significantly improved precision over the previous measurements.
