Georgios Itsios, Carlos Nunez, Dimitrios Zoakos

TL;DR
This paper investigates mesonic excitations in a quantum field theory dual to a non-Abelian T-dual background of $AdS_5\times S^5$, revealing differences in spectra and interactions that shed light on non-Abelian T-duality's role in holography.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of mesonic spectra in non-Abelian T-dual backgrounds and compares them with Abelian T-duality, offering new insights into holographic dualities.
Findings
Differences in mesonic spectra before and after non-Abelian T-duality.
Interactions among mesons reveal the nature of non-Abelian T-duality.
Comparison with Abelian T-duality highlights unique features of non-Abelian cases.
Abstract
In this work we study mesonic excitations in a Quantum Field Theory dual to the non Abelian T-dual of , using a D6 brane probe on the Sfetsos-Thompson background. Before and after the duality, we observe interesting differences between the spectra and interpret them. The spectrum of masses and the interactions among mesonic excitations teach valuable lessons about the character of non-Abelian T-duality and its implications for Holography. The case of Abelian T-duality is also studied.
