TL;DR
This paper proposes assignments for the $ ext{chi}_{cJ}(3P)$ states, identifying $Y(4140)$ as $ ext{chi}_{c1}(3P)$ and a new resonance as $ ext{chi}_{c0}(3P)$, supported by decay behavior analysis and predictions for $ ext{chi}_{c2}(3P)$.
Contribution
It introduces a new resonance as $ ext{chi}_{c0}(3P)$ and supports the $ ext{chi}_{cJ}(3P)$ assignments through decay analysis, with predictions for narrow $ ext{chi}_{c2}(3P)$.
Findings
$Y(4140)$ identified as $ ext{chi}_{c1}(3P)$
New resonance at 4083 MeV as $ ext{chi}_{c0}(3P)$
Predicted narrow $ ext{chi}_{c2}(3P)$ state
Abstract
In the present work, we propose as the state by studying the invariant mass spectrum of the process. In the invariant mass spectrum of the process, we find a new resonance with the mass and width to be and MeV, respectively, which could be a good candidate of the state. The theoretical investigations on the decay behaviors of the in the present work support the assignments of the and as the and states, respectively. In addition, the state is predicted to be a very narrow state. The results in the present work could be tested by further experiments in the LHCb and forthcoming Belle II.
