N.F. Shul'ga, V.V. Syshchenko, E.A. Larikova

TL;DR
This paper investigates the electromagnetic radiation emitted by a non-relativistic charged particle moving uniformly near a conducting sphere, using electrostatic image methods to derive rigorous results.
Contribution
It provides a novel application of electrostatic image methods to analyze radiation from non-relativistic particles near conducting spheres.
Findings
Derived rigorous expressions for radiation fields.
Analyzed the influence of sphere geometry on radiation.
Established a foundation for further studies on particle-sphere interactions.
Abstract
The radiation arising under uniform motion of non-relativistic charged particle by (or through) perfectly conducting sphere is considered. The rigorous results are obtained using the method of images known from electrostatics.
