TL;DR
This study predicts the branching ratios of certain Upsilon decays into Bc mesons and light mesons, highlighting their potential detectability in future high-luminosity experiments.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed theoretical predictions for nonleptonic two-body weak decays of Upsilon(nS) states below the open-bottom threshold.
Findings
Branching ratios for Upsilon(1S,2S,3S) to Bc rho can reach 10^{-10}.
Decays into Bc rho are relatively large among Upsilon decay modes.
Predicted decay rates are within reach of current and future collider experiments.
Abstract
With anticipation of abundant Upsilons data sample at high-luminosity heavy-flavor experiments in the future, we studied nonleptonic two-body weak decays of below the open-bottom threshold with , and . It is found that branching ratios for decays are relatively large among upsilons decay into final states ( , and ) and can reach up to , which is promisingly detected by experiments at the running LHC and forthcoming SuperKEKB.
