TL;DR
This paper investigates the semileptonic decay of the Lambda_c baryon to a neutron and positron-neutrino pair using light-cone QCD sum rules, providing estimates for decay width and branching ratio.
Contribution
It applies light-cone QCD sum rules to analyze the transition form factors and decay properties of Lambda_c to neutron semileptonic decay for the first time.
Findings
Decay width estimated as (8.57±0.41)×10^{-15} GeV
Branching ratio estimated as 0.26±0.01%
Differential decay width fitted with dipole formula
Abstract
The semileptonic weak decay process of the baryon to the neutron is examined. The transition form factors are investigated with light-cone QCD sum rules. The differential decay width is obtained in the dynamical region by fitting the sum rules-allowed results with the dipole formula. The total decay width and the branching ratio are estimated to be and , respectively.
