TL;DR
This paper classifies warped space-times satisfying Einstein's equations, showing how the warping function influences the cosmological constant and exploring its higher-dimensional origins.
Contribution
It provides a classification of Einstein warped spaces and links the 4D cosmological constant to higher-dimensional warped geometries.
Findings
Warpage determines the cosmological constant in Einstein spaces.
The 4D cosmological constant can emerge from higher-dimensional warped spaces.
Classification of Einstein warped spaces satisfying Einstein's equations.
Abstract
We study Einstein's equation in and warped spaces and classify all such spaces satisfying Einstein equations . We show that the warping function not only can determine the cosmological constant but also it can determine the cosmological constant appearing in the induced Einstein equations on . Moreover, we discuss on the origin of the cosmological constant as an emergent effect of higher dimensional warped spaces.
