High Power Polarized Positron Source
Alexander Mikhailichenko

TL;DR
This paper explores the production of polarized positrons using low energy polarized electrons, highlighting potential efficiencies suitable for large-scale facilities like CEBAF and ILC.
Contribution
It presents a detailed analysis of polarized positron production methods and evaluates their efficiency for high-energy physics applications.
Findings
Conversion efficiency estimated at 0.1-1%.
Potential application in CEBAF and ILC.
Foundation for further optimization of polarized positron sources.
Abstract
We discuss the basis of polarized positron production by low energy polarized electrons. Efficiency of conversion ~0.1-1% might be interesting for CEBAF facility and ILC as well.
