Fractal Properties of Multiagent News Diffusion Model
D.V. Lande, V.A. Dodonov

TL;DR
This paper investigates the fractal properties of a multiagent news diffusion model, analyzing how the Hurst exponent varies with model parameters and real information streams, revealing insights into information spread dynamics.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of fractal characteristics in news diffusion models and their relation to real information streams, highlighting the impact of model parameters on fractal behavior.
Findings
Hurst exponent varies with model parameters
Fractal characteristics differ between simulated and real streams
Hurst exponent dynamics reflect information stream states
Abstract
The paper deals with fractal characteristics (Hurst exponent) and wavelet-scaleograms of the information distribution model, suggested by the authors. The authors have studied the effect of Hurst exponent change depending upon the model parameters, which have semantic meaning. The paper also considers fractal characteristics of real information streams. It is described, how the Hurst exponent dynamics depends on these information streams state in practice
