Search for a new baryonic state decaying to $pK^0_S$
P. J. Bussey

TL;DR
This paper reports a search for a hypothesized baryonic state decaying into proton and $K^0_S$, using increased data, but finds no evidence, setting upper limits on its production cross section.
Contribution
The study provides a more sensitive search for the previously claimed baryonic state and establishes new upper limits, challenging earlier claims.
Findings
No evidence for the baryonic state was observed.
Upper limits on the production cross section were set.
The results contradict previous claims of the state.
Abstract
We report on a new ZEUS search for a narrow state decaying into , which was previously claimed by the ZEUS collaboration. In the present search, which uses much increased statistics, no evidence for this state is found. Limits on the cross section for such a state are given.
