Noriyuki Sogabe, Naoki Yamamoto

TL;DR
This paper investigates the dynamic critical behavior near a high-density QCD critical point in nuclear and quark superfluids, revealing a new universality class with unique phonon properties and a dynamic critical index of approximately 2.
Contribution
It identifies a novel dynamic universality class for the QCD critical point within superfluid phases, expanding the understanding of critical phenomena in quantum chromodynamics.
Findings
Superfluid phonon speed vanishes at the critical point
The dynamic critical index is approximately 2
The critical point belongs to a new universality class
Abstract
We study the dynamic critical phenomena near the possible high-density QCD critical point inside the superfluid phase of nuclear and quark matter. We find that this critical point belongs to a new dynamic universality class beyond the conventional classification by Hohenberg and Halperin. We show that the speed of the superfluid phonon vanishes at the critical point and that the dynamic critical index is .
