Charmonium production in pp collisions with ALICE at the LHC
Pereira Da Costa Hugo (for the ALICE Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper presents measurements of charmonium production in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV using ALICE, providing differential cross sections for J/ψ and ψ(2S) and comparing results with other experiments and models.
Contribution
It provides new differential cross section data for charmonium states at 13 TeV and compares these with existing measurements and theoretical models.
Findings
Differential cross sections for J/ψ and ψ(2S) are measured at 13 TeV.
Results are consistent with previous measurements at lower energies.
Comparison with models helps refine understanding of charmonium production mechanisms.
Abstract
We report on forward-rapidity charmonium production in pp collisions at a center of mass energy TeV, as measured by ALICE at the LHC. Differential cross sections for both J/{\psi} and {\psi}(2S) are presented as a function of the charmonium transverse momentum and rapidity. Results are compared to similar measurements performed by LHCb, to lower energy measurements and to state of the art model calculations.
