Studies of correlations between measurements of jet observables
Andrii Verbytskyi

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new method for calculating statistical correlations between jet observables in high energy physics, offering an alternative to sampling methods, with detailed application to jet rate measurements in electron-positron collisions.
Contribution
A novel analytical method for computing correlations between jet observables, improving upon previous sampling-based approaches.
Findings
The new method provides accurate correlation estimates.
Application to $e^+e^-$ collisions demonstrates its effectiveness.
Comparison shows advantages over sampling methods.
Abstract
We present a method for calculation of statistical correlations between measured jet observables in high energy collisions. The method is compared to sampling based methods used in the past. The case of measurements of jet rates in collisions is considered in detail.
