Wolfgang Lucha, Dmitri Melikhov, Hagop Sazdjian, Silvano Simula

TL;DR
This paper calculates the strong couplings of three mesons involving charm or charmonium states using a constituent-quark model, providing predictions that differ significantly from QCD sum rules.
Contribution
It introduces a relativistic dispersion approach within a constituent-quark model to determine meson couplings involving charm and charmonium, offering new quantitative predictions.
Findings
Predicted strong couplings are about twice as large as QCD sum rule estimates.
The approach provides a new framework for calculating meson couplings involving charm.
Results may impact understanding of meson interactions in charm physics.
Abstract
We determine the strong couplings of three mesons that involve, at least, one or meson, within the framework of a constituent-quark model by means of relativistic dispersion formulations. For strong couplings of mesons to two charmed mesons, our approach leads to predictions roughly twice as large as those arising from QCD sum rules.
