Gamma Matrix Expansion of the Bethe-Salpeter Equation for Nucleon-Nucleon System
Susumu Kinpara

TL;DR
This paper derives a set of momentum-space equations for the nucleon-nucleon system using gamma matrix expansion of the Bethe-Salpeter equation, facilitating nonrelativistic analysis.
Contribution
It introduces a gamma matrix expansion approach to simplify the Bethe-Salpeter equation for two-nucleon systems in momentum space.
Findings
Derived simultaneous equations for nucleon-nucleon amplitudes
Equivalence to nonrelativistic equations under auxiliary conditions
Provides a framework for analyzing two-nucleon interactions
Abstract
For the coefficients of the amplitude a set of simultaneous equations is derived in momentum space. By the auxiliary conditions they are equivalent to nonrelativistic equations and suitable for the investigation of two-nucleon system.
