A.V. Bednyakov, A.F. Pikelner

TL;DR
This paper computes the four-loop contribution to the strong coupling beta-function in the Standard Model, addressing calculation ambiguities and providing results relevant for high-precision theoretical predictions.
Contribution
It presents the first detailed calculation of the four-loop strong coupling beta-function in the Standard Model, including a specific treatment of gamma_5 ambiguities.
Findings
Four-loop beta-function in the SM is calculated.
A particular gamma_5 prescription is recommended.
Four-loop beta-function in QCD with gluino is obtained.
Abstract
In the talk the leading four-loop contribution to the beta-function of the strong coupling in the SM is discussed. Some details of calculation techniques are provided. Special attention is paid to the ambiguity due to utilized treatment and a particular prescription with anticommuting is advocated. As a by-product of our computation the four-loop beta-function in QCD with "gluino" is also obtained.
