TL;DR
This paper presents a comprehensive 12-season photometric study of FO Aqr, resolving cycle ambiguities, and providing an extended 34-year O-C diagram with new ephemerides for better understanding its timing behavior.
Contribution
It offers the first long-term, multi-season photometric dataset for FO Aqr and improves cycle counting accuracy with an extended O-C diagram and updated ephemerides.
Findings
Resolved cycle counting ambiguities in FO Aqr
Extended the O-C diagram to 34 years
Provided new ephemerides for FO Aqr
Abstract
Twelve seasons, from 2004 to 2015, of photometric monitoring of the intermediate polar FO Aqr are presented and are compared with previous observations. The ambiguities in the cycle counting can be lifted and a new O-C diagram, spanning 34 yr, is presented, along with new ephemerides.
