TL;DR
This paper explores a gravity model with spinor and scalar fields, demonstrating how certain symmetries lead to a constant scalar field and facilitate slow-roll inflation.
Contribution
It introduces a simplified assessment of inflation within a torsional gravity framework involving spinor and scalar fields.
Findings
Scalar field becomes constant under symmetry conditions
Slow-roll inflation naturally emerges in this model
Conditions for inflation are explicitly derived
Abstract
We consider the torsional completion of gravity with spinor and scalar fields: we show how in this environment conditions of extreme symmetry or specific approximations imply the scalar field to be constant, so that slow-roll takes place and inflation occurs.
