Tommi Alanne, Helene Gertov, Aurora Meroni, Francesco Sannino

TL;DR
This paper compares vacuum alignment issues in composite and elementary Higgs models, providing conditions for vacuum stability and extending previous analyses to elementary frameworks.
Contribution
It offers a systematic comparison of vacuum alignment in composite versus elementary Higgs models and general conditions for vacuum stability in elementary theories.
Findings
Identifies key differences and similarities in vacuum alignment.
Provides stability conditions for elementary Higgs models.
Extends previous studies on vacuum alignment.
Abstract
We systematically elucidate differences and similarities of the vacuum alignment issue in composite and renormalizable elementary extensions of the Standard Model featuring a pseudo-Goldstone Higgs. We also provide general conditions for the stability of the vacuum in the elementary framework, thereby extending previous studies of the vacuum alignment.
