White holes in Einstein-aether theory
Ratindranath Akhoury, David Garfinkle, Nishant Gupta

TL;DR
This paper reports on numerical simulations of gravitational collapse in Einstein-aether theory, revealing that white holes can temporarily form under specific conditions.
Contribution
It demonstrates the possibility of transient white hole horizons arising in Einstein-aether theory through numerical collapse simulations.
Findings
White hole horizons can form temporarily during collapse.
Conditions for white hole formation depend on specific parameters.
The results suggest new phenomena in alternative gravity theories.
Abstract
We perform numerical simulations of gravitational collapse in Einstein-aether theory. We find that under certain conditions, the collapse results in the temporary formation of a white hole horizon.
