Xiangrong Zhu, You Zhou, Haojie Xu, Huichao Song

TL;DR
This study uses viscous hydrodynamics to analyze correlations among flow harmonics in Pb--Pb collisions at 2.76A TeV, revealing sensitivities to initial conditions and shear viscosity, and comparing results with experimental data.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of flow harmonic correlations using multiple initial condition models and identifies their dependencies on initial state and shear viscosity.
Findings
SC^{v}(3, 2) and SC^{v}(4, 2) match ALICE data, showing correlations and anti-correlations.
Certain symmetric cumulants are insensitive to shear viscosity, mainly determined by initial state.
Higher order correlators reveal non-linear mode couplings in flow harmonics.
Abstract
Using the event-by-event viscous hydrodynamics VISH2+1 with MC-Glauber, MC-KLN, and AMPT initial conditions, we investigate the correlations of flow harmonics, including the symmetric cumulants , the normalized symmetric cumulants , and the Pearson correlation coefficients in 2.76A TeV Pb--Pb collisions. We find is sensitive to both initial conditions and the specific shear viscosity . A comparison with the recent ALICE data show that our hydrodynamic calculations can qualitatively describe the data of and for various initial conditions, which demonstrate that , are correlated and , are anti-correlated. Meanwhile, the predicted symmetric cumulants , , and reveal that and , and are correlated, …
